A ruthless vampire stalks the streets of Las Vegas searching for a rare but perfect blood type that will enable him and his fellow vampires to walk in daylight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This was a really bad movie. I don’t recommend it to anyone. It was very hard for me to watch, it felt like a terrible punishment that I had to suffer through. The acting was as cheap as the movie. It was just plain bad. I give it a 2 just because unfortunately I am nice. It looks like one of those movies you see on showtime when the kids are in bed. If you have cable or dish. I am sure that you know what I mean. If you are interested in it here is where you can watch it.http://www.wisevid.com/view_video.php?viewkey=d80e40d0c4a48954e2ff

Is a very good movie. It has the shock element that can make you jump. It has the mysteriousness of the occult. When the action starts it is one thing happening right after another, and before you know it, you are totally engulfed in this film. I give it a 10 out of 1-10. It is a must see. watch movie here>>>> http://www.watch-movies-links.net/movies/hallettsville/

In the area of Arkansas, and Texas there was a town that shared the boundaries of two states. The town was known as Texarkana. Texarkana was like any old town, it had the normal dance halls, and the normal town functions, where people would get together an have fun. One year the town changed. Its town folk began to lock themselves in their houses. Where ever they went they were constantly looking over their shoulders. Fire arms and ammunition became the top items sold that year. The reason why was because of the Phantom Killer. He was a six foot tall man that wore a homemade white hood made out of canvas. The only holes in the hood was for his eyes and mouth. The Phantom Killer would only strike at night. He started his rampage on February 23, 1946. It was a quiet night in Texarkana. Jimmy Hollis and his girlfriend Mary Larey decided to take a drive on a secluded country road outside of Texarkana.Hollis pulled his car to the side of the road, so Mary and him could have some time alone. After a couple minutes had passed a strange man wearing a canvas hood tapped on the window with a gun. The man in the hood told Jimmy and Mary to get out of the car. Then the man told them to do as he said and no one would get hurt. So the young couple got out of the car. Jimmy asked the stranger what he wanted. Jimmy offered his car, and his wallet. The stranger didn’t want any of those. The stranger thought for a few seconds and laughed “ I want your britches.” Jimmy looked at the stranger and reluctantly gave him his pants. Then all of a sudden Jimmy was struck twice on the side of his head with a .32 caliber pistol. Jimmy hit the ground fast and he was out for the count. Poor Mary screamed and tried to run from the terror that was happening before her very eyes. She didn’t run fast enough though. The stranger grabbed a hold of her and threw her to the ground. There he sexually assaulted her with his gun. All of a sudden he seen two car lights shining on him, as a car was heading toward him. He punched Mary a couple times and ran.Everything started to go back to normal for this town. They sort of saw what happened to Jimmy and Mary as a one time deal. The town folk started going back to their regular routines, going to dances, and the movies. Everything seemed to be peaceful once again in Texarkana, until March 23, 1946. The Phantom Killer struck again. This time the crime was different. Two young lovers wouldn’t see the light of day again. Richard Griffin and Polly Ann Moore were found on Bowie County Road outside of Texarkana. The young man was shot behind the driver seat. The young woman appeared to have been shot outside the car. There she was raped then shot. Her body was dragged back to the car, and placed in the back seat. The next morning a man was driving home and noticed a 1941 Oldsmobile parked a hundred yards off the highway. Out of curiosity the man pulled over and checked it out there he saw horrible scene. By this time the town was buzzing with the news. Rumors were spreading every where, the telephone lines were busy. The town grapevine was filled with “ what happens” and “who probably done it.” Everyone was scared. One night after playing in the band, at the dance hall, Betty Jo Booker decided to let her boyfriend Paul Martin take her home. Usually another band member would be responsible to see that she got home safely. Not this time though, The body of Paul Martin was found one and a half mile from his car. Betty was found two miles from the car near a wooded area. Both bodies were shot multiple times. More guns and ammo was bought. People started going home early and locking up the doors and closing the windows tight. People refused to go any were alone. The town was terrified and on guard. The police men started to patrol almost every hour. They made sure no one was parking on the secluded roads. They had road blocks stationed on every road. They did not let a suspicious or unknown vehicle by without checking on the driver first. The Phantom Killer felt the heat of the cops, but not enough to prevent him from killing again. He just changed his tactics a little. On May 4, 1946 at a quiet country house Virgil Sparks sat down next to his radio relaxing from a hard day of work. His wife Katy Sparks went to their bedroom to change into her night clothes. Soon Katy heard the shots of a .22 semi automatic pistol and the shatter of glass. She ran out of her bedroom into her parlor and saw Virgil. He was shot in the head and blood was everywhere. As Katy was entering the parlor she was shot twice. One shot went right through her cheek and exited behind her ear. A second shot rang out and a bullet hit her jaw. It lodged itself under her tongue. Frantically Katy tried to escape knowing that one of the doors were lock she crawled to the kitchen and out the back door. She ran to her sisters house but She was not there. Then she ran to her neighbors house. Luckily the neighbor was home and he called the police. Soon her property had a swarm of cars parked on her lawn. By the time the police got there though the Phantom was gone. Leaving a trail of blood, his weapon, flashlight and finger prints behind him.The chief of police of Arkansas Sate Patrol Max Tackett realized before each murder a car was stolen. Then the car was found after the murders. On June 28, 1946 the police found a stolen vehicle that was reported. They sat and waited to see who would get in the car and drive off. To their surprise a woman came out of a market and got into the car. To save her own neck, she told the police that her husband was the phantom killer. The policed asked for the where about of her husband Youell Swinny. The woman couldn’t say, she had no idea. Then a lucky break happened the police found out that Youell was trying to sell a stolen car, and would be back home shortly. Without hesitation the police took off toward the bus station and met Mr Swinney getting off the bus. Youell Swinney was arrested right there on the spot. The Texarkana police was sure they caught the right guy. Unforutantly, Youell’s wife had proven herself to be an unreliable witness, and she refused to testify in court against her husband. Youel also was wanted for another crime in Arkansas so the Texarkana police took him up there. While Youell was being questioned in Arkansas he was injected with a truth serum and questioned for his actions in the case of the Phantom Killer. The Arkansas police over dosed Youell and he fell a sleep. Even though everyone was convinced he was the killer they couldn’t charge him for the murders, instead Youell was charges with stealing a car. Since he was a repeated offender the judge decided to give him life imprisonment. In 1974 Youell Swinney’s conviction was overturned because he wasn’t given a fair trial. He never was offered or given an attorney to defend him. The case of the Phantom Killer is still unsolved to this day, in 2006 it was declared a cold case. In 1896 there was a family known as the Otto’s. Mr and Mrs Otto was very well known for not treating their servants very well. They often were mistreated. One servant used to take care of the couples son Gene. This servant used to practice a magic called voodoo. One day the servant grew very angry at the Otto’s so she made a little doll. The doll was three feet tall and stuffed with straw. When she was done making the doll she gave the little item to Gene. Gene fell in love with the doll and named it Robert. The boy took Robert every where. Soon Gene started to have conversations with the doll. Mr and Mrs Otto became worried about their son, because sometimes they heard their son speak in two different voices. Then strange things started to happen within the house. Sometimes even the neighbors had witness some strange events. When the Otto’s were out of town, the neighbors witness the doll appearing in different windows of the house. Soon Gene started to blame the doll, for doing mischievous things. One day Mr and Mrs Otto heard the doll giggling, and cussing up a storm as it ran through the house. Pretty soon Gene began to have nightmares and scream in the middle of the night. Mr and Mrs Otto would run to their sons room and discover the furniture flipped over and in total disarray. The doll was sitting at the end of the child’s bed as if it had done nothing. The doll was eventually put up in the attic, and there it remained for years to come. Gene’s parents had passed away and the house soon became Gene’s. One day poking around the attic Gene had discovered his old doll Robert. Once again the doll started to have some influence over Gene. Gene’s wife also became weary of the doll. She often claim to have felt the doll staring at her. She sensed that something was wrong with the doll, so she picked the doll up an threw it back into the attic. Gene was so upset by this. He even told his wife all that Robert wanted was his own separate room with a window. Soon people started to speak about the doll once more. They would claim to have seen the doll peering out the window and making faces at them. Children would walk clear out of their way just to avoid the house. Gene one day grew tired and frustrated at the doll and took it back up to the attic, but Robert had other ideas. Gene eventually died in 1972, and a new family moved into the home. One day a ten year old girl discovered Robert sitting in a rocking chair by a window. Like Gene she fell in love with the doll and carried it every where. One day the doll became unhappy and displeased at the little girl. Later on the girl told people that the doll actually wanted to kill her. Some how the doll wounded up at the Key west Martello Muesum. Sometimes you can hear Robert the doll getting himself into mischief while the echos of giggling floating through out the halls.

“A group of artists live in a community of rundown warehouses. At a gallery opening, one of them, Sai, meets a handsome European stranger named Reinfield, whose shows not only interest in her haunting paintings, but in her as well. He offers Sai a special gift, one that will open her to an exciting new level of inspiration. The gift is an ancient sap that bleeds from a long forgotten tree. Sai inhales a wisp of smoke from the burning sap and instantly descends into a dark mythical world where a vampire seduces and preys on her, using Sai to cross over from its world into ours. “

In the years 1963 through 1965 a horrendous crimes were being committed around Manchester, England. Four children disappeared and was murder by Ian Brady. His accomplice in the crimes was Myra Hindly. They were a sick and twisted couple that would lure children to Saddleworth Moor and eventually kill them. This is about their crimes and victims. * On July 12,1963 Pauline decided to go to a dance in Crupsall. The woman Myra Hindly picked her up, while Ian Brady followed closely behind them, riding on a motercycle. Myra started to look for one of her gloves. She told the girl that she lost it somewhere. Myra pulled off the side of the road on Saddleworth Moor to “search” for the glove. While the girls were searching for the glove, Ian Brady struck Pauline Read over the head with a shovel. Then proceeded to drag her further into the moor. There Ian Brady raped and murdered Pauline Read. Her body was found 24 years later. * John Kilbride was walking into a Market at Ashton Under-Lyne, when he came in contact with Myra Hindly. Myra Hindly asked the twelve year old boy to help her carry some boxes. Like any good boy back then, John Kilbride agreed to help her. John Kilbride entered the car where Ian Brady was sitting in the back seat. After a while Myra Hindly parked the car at the Moor. She stayed in the car, as Ian Brady took the boy with him through the moor. There poor John Kilbride was bound, spanked, and raped. His suffering ended by strangulation. Ian Brady soon dug a shallow grave and placed the boy inside it. *
It was June 16,1964 Keith Bennett was walking to his grandmothers house. When Myra Hindly pulled up beside him in her car. She called out to him to see if he wanted a ride. The 12 year old boy said yes. Once again Myra claimed she has lost her glove, and pulled over to the side of Saddleworth Moor. Got out and began looking for her glove. That was the last day that he was seen again. He was brutally tortured, raped then like rest of them strangled. His body has never been found.
*
Ian Brady and Myra Hindly committed two more murders before they were turned in by Myra’s brother-in-law, David Smith. David smith witness the last crime committed by Brady and Myra. It was the murder of seventeen year old Edward Evens. He was struck with an ax until strangled. David Smith was force to help clean up the mess and put Edward Evens in side a polythene bag. When the job was done David went home to his wife and told her what happen. Right then an there they made the decision to call the police.
*
Superintendent Bob Talbert, knocked on the door of Myra’s home on 16 Wardle Brook Avenue. He proceeded to tell Myra and Ian that he was investigating an act of violence that was reported to have taken place on the grounds. He looked through out the house and didn’t see anything till he came upon a locked door upstairs. Talbot asked to have the door unlocked. After a little confrontation Ian Brady unlocked the door. There Bob Talbot saw the brutal remains of Edward Evens inside a polythene bag. Ian Brady was found guilty of three charges of murder, which consist of life sentences. He served nineteen years out of that sentence and founded to be insane. He was moved to a Mental Hospital. Myra Hindly was arrested a couple days later after Ian Brady was caught. She was charged with 3 counts of murder.

The movie was a slow starter for me. It was very grusome so if you are into alot blood and gore, this movie is for you. When the action picks up it can be a little confusing. Some parts it is hard to follow, or understand what exactly is happening. I would rate this movie a 5 out of 10. Just because some parts lead you into confusion, on what is actually happening. It also has a very surprising end.
