Gnaw

Once again a group of kids go on a little vacation. Like all movies that start out like this, the watcher already knows the story. One by one the kids disappear. Who knows where they will end up. In a nice slice of Shepperd pie perhaps, or floating in a container keeping cool.

Who knows they can even wind up in each others stomachs. On a gruesome level, this is the best I have ever seen. The story on the other hand has been redone constantly over time. Surprisingly I did enjoy the movie though hmm perhaps I have a slight twisted mind. I give this movie a popular 10.

The Loner (hikikomori)

This movie highlights the horror that can lurk through a families past. Su-na, loses a close friend to suicide. She locks herself in a small room, refusing the company of others. All of a sudden Su-na starts to act like a totally different person. Out of Desperation Su-na’s uncle seeks the help of his fiance, Yun-mi. The story soon unravels and we learn Su-na’s secret of becoming a hikikomori. This was an awesome movie. It had creepy parts. It had tear jerking moments. It had shock content. This is an excellent movie a real piece of  art. Make sure you pay attention, or you may miss an important part. This movie is a fantastic 10, ya can’t ask for anything more.

Legend of the Bog

311ksr5.jpg

When a 2000-year old mummified murder victim, a “bog body,” is inadvertently disturbed he rises from the dead to wreak havoc on a local group of strangers who unwittingly share a guilty secret. Alone in the dark, they fight for survival as this mysterious victim seeks vengeance on their dark past. This was a very good movie to me. The reason why because of the story line. It was different compared to the usual back from the dead type movies. I give it a 6 out of 10. To watch the movie for free click the movie name below.

Autumn

autumn_cover_art_largessfrnt-2.png

All there is now is to wait in silence. The reanimated corpses should decompose soon enough and simply fall apart as they try to move. Worst case… the survivors just have to stick it out in silence and darkness until Winter sets in and the corpses all simply freeze.

Autumn has a bad start. I do not like a movie where I do not know what is going on. This movie makes me feel a sense that I have missed some important peice of the film. I have a feeling the book would be better then this movie. This movie seems so slow for me. OK I quit! I can not punnish myself further.  I am too impatient. This movie is not even good enough for a ranking, but since I have rated even less quality of films I will be fair and rank this one. I give it a 1 out of 10.

Oan Hon (spirits)

Oan Hon” ” spirits,” is the story of a writer who moves into an

abandoned house on the outskirts of Saigon in search of the kind of solitude

he needs to complete his novel. He works at night, which is the prime time

for ghosts and other things that go bump in the night.

This movie is very slow and confusing, I rate this as a 2 out of 10 watch the movie at this linkOan Hon (Spirits)

First off I would like to say, remember that watching this movie from these sites are free. In saying that I do warn people this quality of video is off centered at first. To get the best quality, it is commonsense you would have to pay $20.00 at a movie theater. Eventually when the English speaking scenes the movie seems to straight itself out. I do recommend seeing this movie at a theater, the shock value would be awesome. This movie is a mouth opener. It caught me by surprise. I even giggled in some parts because I wasn’t expecting some of the scenes. I even threw in a couple of “no ways?” I think I love this film. I was totally cracking up during one scene that involves a car. Yep this movie is good. I kept giggling . This movie is a 10. I do have to say the ending was just wrong.  I am also trying out a new way to link to the movies instead of the plain copy and pate the link. I think if this works out I will be using this  way more. Just click on the title of the movie  below. It should take you to the movie.

Acolytes

acolytes.jpg

James Tresswick and Mark Vincent are victims of a brutal bully Gary Parker who has maltreated both boys, marking their bodies and spoiling their young lives. In their last year of high school, James and Mark find a way to stop being victims. They’re going to kill Gary; Wandering alone around an isolated forest - the suspected site of the disappearance of a local girl - 17 year old Mark strays upon an adult male filling in a trench. It’s suspicious and tantalizing. Mark returns with his friend James and Chasley Keys and they bring shovels to exhume what will probably be rotting garbage or someone’s dead pet - or so they tell themselves. They find the ghostly white body of a woman. She’s a tourist - a Canadian backpacker. The “trench” is a grave. The “adult male” is her killer. And they’ve got him by the balls. Responding to Mark’s intimations James floats an idea to seek out “the sicko”. It’ll be a bit of fun. He’s confident the guy lives in their suburb; Mark saw his car parked on a trail; Mark knows what the car looks like; Mark knows what he looks like. It can be done. Chasely goes along with it. No surprise. James has done all her thinking since they started a relationship. Mark agrees because he’s got a thing for Chasely and he’d like to appear a bit more like her boyfriend, but mostly Mark agrees because he carries a culpable secret. They find the car and the killer 24 hours later. He’s got the same house as everyone else and a kid and a wife. Jeez, it’s anticlimactic. Then, in Chasely’s bedroom, as the girl cleans up the latest damage done to Mark’s face by an animal called Gary Parker, James floats another idea; What if the killer were contacted and told the name of a guy that they’d like to see dropped in a hole of his own? He’s their secret, isn’t he? They kind of own him, don’t they? If he thinks they might let him go he’d do anything, wouldn’t he? What could go wrong? James, Mark and Chasley are about to cross a line of no return as serial killer Ian Wright lures the vulnerable teenagers into his violent world.( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0902952/plotsummary)

This movie was very confusing. I felt like I was in the middle of a storyline. When it first started I think the only reason I kept watching it was in hopes I would figure it out. Eventually I did. Well I thought I did, then it got confusing again.  After watching the whole moving I am left with a WTF?  I rate this movie a 5 out of 10 Watch the movie for  free at the link below
